Cannon PIXMA MP470 InkJet Printer
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The last printer I bought was so long ago, all I remember is that it was quite expensive, slow, and the ink was REALLY expensive. However, (and this is a BIG consideration), I don't print a lot of volume here at home but do like the option of printing in color if I so desire (my last printer was not a color printer but, in its defense, it lasted a very, very long time, probably because I didn't print that much). What lead me to this printer were the high marks it got from CNET and another consumer organization. It rated this printer 7.5 out of 10, OVERALL, which was the highest in this particular category of printer. This Canon PIXMA MP470 Ink Jet printer was only $63 or $64, COLOR, it's a SCANNER, and also a COPIER! As an ink jet, like my last one, it's important that I print maybe once a week to keep the print head/ink from drying up. BUT THE SPEED IS GOOD (for a printer in that category), the quality is great (and gives one many options for quality of print from very fine to draft), and best of all, ALL THE FUNCTIONS are easy to understand and it can be installed by almost anyone. The instructions are simple! The scanner function walks you right through what you need to do. It's great to have a copier here at home even though it isn't intended to copy in volumes. But it's just enough for me. I was REALLY happy when I could scan my photo of me on The Glass Bridge (at the Grand Canyon) and send it to my friends without a hitch! The only thing that might be a problem is if you want FAST and LOTS. This printer is not designed for that but then, I'm sure you can find a Canon product that is. I have a Canon Power Shot digital camera and LOVE IT...this printer is another great product from Canon!
