His Very Best: Jimmy Carter, a Life

Interesting background to a president who literally came from a small town farm.

I find it very interesting how different everyday things were just a generation ago. Yes, I'm 60 yrs old but to think of just how different things were in my parent's time as children is amazing. This book covers Jimmy Carters very early childhood growing up in Georgia in the 1930's. I've only gotten to the point where Jimmy is entering college, but I'm already hooked and look forward to learning more about his life and contributions.

Interesting character. Lots of never know to me details.

Book really makes you understand what a god-forsaken place the Amazon jungle was a hundred years ago. Not a place for humans and it's a shame it didn't stay that way.

May work in other applications but not mine.

I bought some new window cranks and door handles from Jbugs. I forgot to order the pins and found these which I assumed were the same thing as Jbugs offered but could get free shipping, I bought these. They may work in another application but not mine. The pins being made of spring steel do not squeeze down small enough to be used with my items. I ended up cutting finish nail into pieces to get the job done.
