It was worth the wait

I FINALLY got a good unit on Ebay. It took me several tries. Machine purrs like a kitten and captures are looking sweet.

I am still making up my mind

I am still running tests on this machine. The color is not pleasing and rewind and forward are terribly noisy - it is a bit concerning. Eject and insert seems to be smooth. Verdict is still out.

Math History you can enjoy

My homeschooled children and I have really enjoyed this approach to Math History. It is informative, fun - with some mental challenges along the way. We started with the history of our traditional calendar and have now moved on to the history of time keeping and clocks. The author has kept us engaged in the facts without getting bogged down into math itself. This is a great addition to your elementary math curriculum.
