Great Book For Young & Old

Mr. Kubernik did a superb job putting this book together . Using Henry Diltz and Guy Webster photographs made this book . All the contributing artists & writers made the whole book come together nicely . I grew up in So Cal during this time( I was a teenager ) and he really put the whole year together great. A lot of inside information I did not know about . The only information we got in those days was from radio and newspapers . So , it was good to see all the stuff that was happening . I'm an L.A. guy , so I started with "Turn Up The Radio" , another Kubernik classic , that goes well with "1967". Loved It !! It's on my coffee table for my friends to enjoy .

Good Vinyl

I liked all the people/collectors . The photos were very good. In my opinion, the author left out an important person who is responsible for rediscovering all the old comedy/off the wall records . Barry Hansen ( dr. Demento ) was not featured. Other than that , the book was very good.

Finally , Mark-Almond on CD !

I've been looking for years for a CD version of this 1970 album . I have 2 vinyl copies of it , but it's great to hear "The City" without any scratches.
