Wide range and smooth shifting

Good value and a wide gear range with smooth shifting. I like that the 7 largest cogs in the cassette are fixed with the two smallest cogs as singles. This helps ensure rock solid shifting.

Great cassette for mid-drive electric bike

I bought this cassette to convert my mtb to a mid-drive, high speed electric bike. This steel 11-34 cassette replaced my aluminum 11-34 cassette. This is an all steel cassette and the largest 7 cogs are pinned as a single unit. This spreads the load across all 7 of those cogs to the free wheel, which will allow much longer life for the free wheel. The steel cassette is heavier than aluminum, but the cogs are drilled out to reduce weight. Steel will hold up to the strong forces from the chain. And, steel is cheap! This cassette has a 2-tooth or 3-tooth increment too, which is desirable for an electric motor mid-drive. The 34 tooth delivers high fork to climb the steepest hills and the 11-13-15 tooth cogs deliver top end speed for commuting.
