Midnight Club 3
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I liked the game, not to big into racing games, but this is really cool. Nothing like illegal street racing to get the blood pumping. You can upgrade your rides, change colors and styles. There are numerous car classes, including bikes, suvs, sedans and of course the exotic. Everything on your car can be customized. Street racing is fun, handling is better that the psp game (midnight club L.A. remix, I know different game, but it was my first contact with the midnight club game.), not as responsive, but you can atleast handle the car and not crash into everything like the psp game. In my opinion it is better that the Need For Speed games, sorry to those who prefer the NFS. There are some cheat codes, but not for money, as far as making it big, one dollar cheat, so you either have to play the game fair or sit for hours driving yourself mad plugging in your cheat over and over. As one can expect, in the world of illegal racing, nothing is really fair, the other drivers can play a bit dirty, trying to pull pit maneuvers and what not. There is a lot to take care of, spread out over three cities. Not to far into the game right now, but I do recomend the game for anyone who likes racing.

SWBF: renegade squadron
It was an ok game. Liked how you could personalize character and exchange weapons and gear. I didn't like how the gear you could select had to add up to 100 credits or less. Wish they could have a money system where you could buy upgrades. Didn't try multiplayer, but tried galactic conquest. Overall set up was ok. You had to buy troops on each planet and upgrades. Taking over sectors will unlock heros that give bonuses. Didn't really care for the game play. I am used to the ps2 games, so guess i'm a little byass toward their setup.

Halo 3
Step back into the boots of Spartan 117 for yet another good game from bungie. This time your AI girlfriend isn’t there to talk you through things, instead Halo 3 teams you up with several different groups, including the Arbiter, UNSC marines and even the flood, who would have guessed there was something intelligent behind all those tentacled freaks... The Arbiter's species have switched sides, being replaced by brutes, which are not as tough as they were in Halo 2. New weapons include Spartan laser, spiker, mauler, gravity hammer, spike grenade, firebomb grenade, flamethrower and missile pod. I enjoyed is being able to break a turret from its mount, while limiting its ammo count, it can be useful to "move" a turret to another area. There are new vehicles that the Chief can use. A useful little atv known as a mongoose, no weapons but a very cheeky sounding horn. Don't know what they were thinking about when they decided not to weaponize it. There is an air unit for the marines, the hornet, not extremely fast feeling, but can have 2 men on either side, adds a bit of fire power, which is nice. Covenant vehicles are cool, with the best being the chopper, in my opinion. Has weapons that the player can use, while the prowler doesn't, but can carry support personnel. Another new feature is the equipment. One piece of equipment can be carried at a time, use x to deploy, but can come in handy. There are a couple of shields that can be used, devices that can either destroy shields or power them up (players shielding, not the other equipment), flairs, grav lift and trip mine, which can be used against wraiths. There are a few enemies that are new or have a bigger presence in the game. Most notable is that brutes take over for the elites in the previous two games. The elites have switched sides and now are allies. The flood is back again, but with a creepy spider like evolver. It can change forms from a spider like creature to an infected brute to a needle shooting platform. Play is like the other games. The controls have been changed around a bit, but it didn’t take long to adjust, controls have a better feel. The graphics on the game are amazing. Played the first on my friends Xbox and then played the third, was blown away. There is more detail, coloring is more vibrant and has a realistic look. I do have to say though, been playing on my hd computer monitor, so the graphics should be better. If I had to say anything bad about the game, it's the fact that the Master Chief trusts everybody. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, fool me a third time and I'll activate and fire a halo ring, destroying the ark, the halo damn near half of your get away ship. The plus side is that this halo ring is not completed and that little jerk faced guilty spark tries to stop you from using the halo because it's not finish and it will destroy the ring and in trying to use it, guilty spark turns on you and you get to finally kill him. Also, biiig cliffhanger, does the Mater Chief really die? They did a good job at dragging out the answer, it seems like he'd slip out the cargo bay, which why would you leave open while you’re flying into space? Closing scenes have a nice memorial for the past characters that were KIA, including bother Keyes, Johnson and 117 scratched into a broken section of a pelican wing. Well at least the war with the covenant and the flood is finally over.
