Very capable. Great sounds. Easy to program. Great value.
The Monologue is a very capable little synth. I have it, mostly, for bass sounds as an augment to my bass guitars on stage. Just another cool texture/color to add to the palette. A really good value and, added bonus, it fits in the front pocket of my Helix backpack as if the pocket was made for it. Nice, fat analog sounds.

Love using a Helix on stage!
Going from a stage amp to a floor controller was a total game changer for me. I'm a bassist and use a variety of different patches based on an STV model. I have patches for distortion, pitch shift, octaving, auto-wah, chorus, digital whammy and more with the possibility of building endless additional patches. My whole band is on Helix and Kemper controllers with IEM's. FOH sound guys love the constancy and the absence of stage volume (except for the drum kit) We love the consistency of our monitoring environment. It's become a set and forget thing.

Get ready to do some climbing!
Great workouts! Plan to spend a good chunk of time in Zone 4 as the workouts are all about climbing with a decent recovery between each interval. Nice video quality too.
