Possibly the best arc of TMNT 2003
The 2003 series of TMNT was one of the best written and animated of all TMNT series so far, and this season was no exception. This season introduced a new supernatural Shredder, possibly the most powerful and imposing enemy the turtles would ever face. It also featured important turning points in the character arcs for both Baxter Stockman and Karai. As the last season before the series turned more light-hearted with "Fast Forward", it in many ways feels like the climax of the series.
The DVD collection contains the entire story arc, and I highly recommend it to any fans of the 2003 version of the Turtles. (However, as tightly tied to previous arcs as it is, newcomers might be better off starting with season one!)
