Super high quality but with a few design flaws
I bought this bases on quality claims. They are true. This is a well made fishing pliers.
The design issues I'm finding are consistent with other reviews:
1. There is an ever so slight gap in the jaws that seem to prevent really solid contact with smaller hook sizes.
2. The jaws are very beefy, which makes them strong/durable, but also prevents reaching in to smaller mouth of some species.
The scabbard and tether are fantastic.
The line cutting feature is amazing especially for cutting braid.
The clasp feature is really nice to have and can be operated with one hand to open/release jaws when needed (usually while holding a fish in other hand).
These are very good pliers but I'm going to have to acquire, and carry,, another smaller set for small mouthed fish

Once I figured out how the over engineered clip works I freaking love this rod holder.
I may even be able to figure out how to fully extend the multi point arm and use it to troll while pedaling the kayak.

Rugged Yak Dolly. But.....
I'm new to yak life. Bought this based on two things 1. Aluminum construction and 2. Pneumatic wheels.
The construction and build quality looks to be there, but.... the wheels are NOT Pneumatic! They are some kind of super high density foam covered with heavy gauge plastic.
That's better than a solid plastic, or solid rubber wheel because there is some 'give in them but I'm concerned they will not be durable; only time will tell.
