I bought this rod for small swimbaits and works perfectly
I really like the fact is this rod is lighter than most other medium heavy rods that I have in my Arsenal

Lightweight and plenty of power
This is an excellent rod for the jetties so far I've caught Spanish mackerel,reds,flounder and some huge jackcrevalle in the 20 to 25lb!
