Pace Setter 70-1140 Black Exhaust Header

Great item.

I'm not sure why folks are complaining about this headder. For one thing the destructions clearly state that the paint/coating that it ships with is only a rust preventative and needs to be stripped and coated with a high temp coating. This is a value priced headder guys, it's a quality item on a budget. Do your part and strip and repaint it and you should have a great looking piece that will last quite some time. Second is the fitment issue. Once again, this is a value priced headder. Some fitment or modification is required. For me, this was installed on a 89 mazda b220 2.2L carbed. What worked best for me was to delete all smog junk and install the collector onto the headder and leave it loose. Then connect the collector to your stock exhaust pipe and leave the 2 bolts loose that connects the collector to the stock pipe. THEN mount the headder flange onto your head. I had to remove the studs from the head and then reinstall them. After that finger tighten everything up. Then start low and work your way up, torque everything down to spec and it should be good to go. Took me all of 15 minutes once I got the stock manifold and smog crap off.

Quality item

I was surprised at the quality of this cable when it arrived. It's actually true 1/0 cable. One run of this cable @ 20' was perfect to run my old setup of a rockford fosgate t1500bdcp and 1 rockford fosgate T2d2 15. Great value for the price. Very flexible cable also. Love the color selection.

Love it.

Bought this for a built mazda 2.2 from my 89 b2200. Keeps my oil cooler and went from 4.7 quarts to 7 quarts of oil with no pressure drop. Mounts easy and looks great. I highly recommend using trans dapts remote oil filter lines. After buying hose, fittings and clamps the price is comparable to just buying the pre made lines and I belive they hydraulically crimp them too. Great buy.
