Comment from when I had a pair of these sunglasses
I got a pair back about 1982 , from a kleptomaniac friend of mine he stole off of a yacht. I did not know what they were or how much they were at the time (think they were about $180 back then) until a few months later. They did okay on the beach and the water , but the small nose-pieces kinda affected their overall function and comfort. . They are ultimate "retro" , next to the Porsche sunglasses made with material same as Porsche sport cars at the time (911's) for a serious matching accessory to the car. There are tons better sunglasses, but these do hold a specific niche just as they did back then to a few people in the know, or rich enough to afford them back at that time. And they did work work on the beach, when I used them.
