A new work buddy.
Bought this as a replacement for a canvas bag that last 3 weeks before the zip bust. It cost £19 and a new zip fitted was £25. It was history.
I had a browse and found this bag. Goat leather eh? Unusual. But boy it's cheap. Bet this is going to be class. Let's have a laugh and buy one.
It arrived in a reasonable time and in perfect condition. The smell was a bit whiffy, but not put me off me dinner bad. Found out that it is probably the lanolin which soaks goat leather naturally.
I had bought the medium bag because the bigger the bag the more unwanted stuff you pack for work. This has more pockets and zips than a punk rockers pants and this is where it gets weird. It was built like a brick outhouse. Sewed and rivetted so solidly I tried to tug the handle off and nearly broke a finger.
It looks amazing and is going to last for years if properly cleaned and fed. But two things could be done a little better. I say this because they are a hair away from perfect.
The padding on the carry strap, bin it and replace it with a single buckle to tie down the flappy leather, it isn't needed and looks pants. And under the flap where the handle is needs a couple of strengthener strips to keep it flat and true.
But these are just me being an old fart. This is beyond good value and has proper old school straps not those bloody awful magnetic clasp things.
You would be insane to spend a fortune on expensive copies of these bags. I would personally lock you up and swallow the key.
I want thank all the hard working guys that made these bags. You did an amazing job, you should be proud. 😀👍👏
