One for the library.
An absolutely fantastic read about a down east maine yankee serving his country in a completely rural village on the coast of South Vietnam.What this man was able to accomplish is nothing short of amazing. He also left impeccable notes and diary's of all his exploits trying to safeguard and teach the coastal island to defend itself from the increased NLF attacks upon its sparce defenses. A must for a serious reader.
