The amazing...no, the magic electrickery controller.
This 12V DC On/Off switch is amazing.
You feed power in one end, then attach the other end to something than needs power. By the magic of electrickery, when you turn the switch to ON, the thing that needs power gets it. WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT? Then, when you set the switch to OFF you will never guess what happens.......the electrickery stops going to the electrickery needing thing and the thing STOPS WORKING. That is even MORE WITCHCRAFT. This switch is evil being able to control electrickery.

It just bloody works.
It takes the ity bity ones and zeros and writes then very fast to the NAND. Once there, it can read the ity bity ones and zeros very, very fast.
The end.

NO TOOLS REQUIRED boast is very, VERY misleading. Not good value IMO.
On the box: "NO TOOLS REQUIRED". Rubbish! No tools required to slide the loose fitting top off but one still has to find screws and screwdriver to fit the HDD into the enclosure. You also need electrical tape (my choice) to tape the loose sliding (no tools required) top to the chassis or it will fall off. This is due to the enclosure being about ½mm to 1mm TOO SHORT to have sufficient space to house a 3.5" HDD. The (no tools required) sliding top also lacks any sort of system to stop it from opening by itself.
The power cable was also too short IMO and was overly thin, again IMO. Also found the prongs on the plug to bend without needing too much force. I replaced the cable with one that suited my requirements and peace of mind.
Other than that........it works.
