Hooteroll Is A Hoot
If you like experimental stuff, then this CD is for you. Garcia pretty much went away from his usual solo style roots and this CD is on another plane from his other stuff. Melodic, weird, and rythmic all at the same time. He had fun doing this one.

First Step - Small Faces
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Wow! What a fantastic group back in the day. This was the beginning of the second British Invasion, in my opinion. Rod had all the studs and they played together so well. This is a must for anyone really enamored with the timeline of Stewart, Humble Pie, and Ron Wood. Great stuff when Rock & Roll was real.

Zappa Knew What He Was Doing
This is a great live recording from the mid-70s as overseen by the master himself, FZ. There was no one like him nor will there ever be; but at least we have these kinds of recordings to enjoy. The guitar work on this one is pure FZ quality, and he was one of the best in the business - up there with Alvin Lee, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, and Wes Montgomery. Make no mistake, he had a style all his own and it shows in this recording. Highly recommended for the FZ fan.
