Good But With Faults.
While this model appears to be an accurate reproduction of the M&W railbus I have two issues with it. Firstly having examined the drive I found the gearing to be over lubricated. This isn't the first time I've found a Heljan model to be in this condition. Secondly, the decorative axle boxes and detail are non functioning but contain some very delicatre parts. These assemblies are secured to the chassis by adhesive and two lugs. Two of these assemblies were loose and one had to be glued back on.
It is unfortunate that a manufacturer like Heljan who produces some very good looking models seems to suffer from such silly errors.I can only suggest that their final inspection leaves a lot to be desired.
