Fits pefectly but runs very poorly
I bought this as a temporary solution so I could remove my OEM carb to clean it and rebuild it. The new carb fit perfectly, but the tractor ran much worse than it did with the 10 year old gunked up carb. Specifically, it sputtered and burned a lot of gas... the gas smell in the exhaust was very strong and the tractor burned at least twice as much gas as before, probably three times as much. Adjusting the carb screw made no difference. So maybe this particular unit was defective but it is definitely not something I would recommend buying. In a sense, it did it's job, I was able to use the tractor for a couple of weeks while I waited for the carb rebuild kit to arrive, even if I was choking on unburned gas in the exhaust fumes.
