Frustrating for the right reasons.
This is a very good film, though the viewing experience may be frustrating in the best of ways, due to the themes. Very engaging film which tackles important issues. Acting by Mads Mikkelsen is very moving and believable which makes you care about the character and his struggle. A unique experience. Highly recommended.

Great film and villain
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'm not the biggest Bond fan but after seeing the trailer and that one of my favourite actors is playing the villain I thought I'd pick this up, at a great price might I add. Turned out to be a very good film. Very mature with a darker tone at points (which I love), but still has that Bond feel. And Javier Bardem played the villain so well. A very interesting and dark character. He stole the show every time he was on screen. Wonderful performance, and overall a very modern, entertaining Bond film.

Beautiful film
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich One of the most visually arresting films of all time. If someone wants to know what you mean by great cinematography then show them this film on blu ray. The plot and narrative wasn't so respected when it was first reviewed but it has now come to be recognised as one of the best films of the seventies, and one of the most beautiful films ever made. An essential for cinephiles and a film to be experienced by everyone at least once.
