Long nose pooch
Bought medium for my standard size dachshund (those long noses). Light weight for day time wear. It does keep him from reaching his back leg and licking it. He will be wearing one for sometime.

Good fit for long nose and body wienier dog
Just what was needed to keep our standard dachschund ,20lbs, from constantly licking a sore on his foot. Because of his long nose and body. The balloon type still allowed him to reach that back foot. Important is the fact that the distance from neck past nose was good. Some are not long enough and therefore defeat the purpose. I call it his "hoodie" and since bought another so can wash (rinses out easily in sink ) Med was perfect. Have not used calming gel patch .
