A full bodied history of gang life in Old New York.the cast of de Niro,Woods,dzundza show the hierarchical structure of the mean streets survival pact through the protagonists stories.brutal violence interspersed with their loyalty to each other fully tested to the natural conclusion. Well worth the endurance of a long viewing.
