Not happy with it. Don't recommend it.

I was hoping for a more comprehensive view of the '50s, but all I got was reminiscences of the very early '50s, even going back into the '40s. And it was written from memory, not actuality. I was disappointed. I got married in 1959 and hoped for a picture of what married life was like at that time. And on top of all that, it was not about life in the States but about life in England. Maybe I misread the "about" copy. But I was not happy with it.
