Not as good as it seems.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I wanted an easy way to replicate mortice & tenon joints, but couldn't afford a Domino machine.
The triton works just like a biscuit jointer. I wish I could say it was satisfying and created accurate, strong joints with ease.
Unfortunately it has several drawbacks.
The cutters bore into the wood, but don't cut like a drill bit. Consequently it takes considerable force to plunge the two cutters.
This leads to movement in the positioning of the machine which causes the dowel holes to not line up on the two pieces to be joined. Also, any slight movement whilst drilling means loose dowels.
I've used the tool on 5 or 6 occasions, with poor results.
You would be far better off with a cheap dowel guide.

Just the job!
I needed feet for a hand-made kitchen, to keep the carcasses off the floor.
These worked perfectly. Robust and easily adjustable. Can't fault the price.
