Great Projector
10 von 10 finden das hilfreich I replaced my ailing EPSON 5010 with the 5040UB. Connecting the projector was simple: one HDMI cable to the TV box and one HDMI cable to the Blu-Ray player. The picture quality is better the the 5010, which is saying a lot. Every feature can be controlled from the remote. (The on-line manual could be better ). The projector is very quiet. It comes with the brightness set to "Normal". I changed it to "Economy" to make the bulb last longer and the picture is still plenty bright. The whites are whiter then with the 5010, and if you want to play with the color saturation, it is very easy to do. To focus, press the remote "Lens" button once; to change the picture size, press the "Lens" button twice, etc. Also, the remote has HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 to easily switch between video sources. I have the projector sitting on a shelf about 12 feet from a seven-foot screen.

A work of style and great beauty.
I loved everything about this film. And to see it in blu-ray on a big screen was a real treat. Though it was made quite some time ago, I was seeing it for the first time. It is a thing of beauty from start to finish. It is clearly timeless.

Terrific Technicolor Epic!
I give this movie the highest rating because it looked terrific on our extra big projection screen. It made me feel like I was right on the ship. Some may find the production "dated" but I enjoyed it all the more for that reason. I love a good, Technicolor epic. And for me it's a plus to see actors who are no longer with us doing what they did so well. KH
