not actually as pictured

I bought these. I thought they were pretty small and not representative of what I saw in the picture. I personally think that this item should be sold by weight and not by number. It is more accurate and honest for everyone one. I did return them and got my $$ back without any hassle.

Too much of a good thing?

Hey, I used to have a Leatherman Wave. I have used it for at least 4-5 years and I thought it was a great product. But of course, as a male, we are always looking for bigger and better, so I bought the surge. It is made well and sturdier than the wave. But the price is paid in weight. I have a pager, key ring and cell phone on my belt. It is just probably too much weight for the increase in strength. My ego won't let me go back to the wave but if I really am honest with myself, I got more utility per ounce with the wave than the surge. I suppose if I was more than an office worker, I would love the heavy duty feel of the surge but I really do not do much that I could not have done with the wave. The surge is well made and up to the usual standards of Leatherman. Maybe I will eventually grow up and go back to the wave!!??
