Not A Direct Replacement
It's an ok valve but it is not a direct replacement for the IR valve. The IR valve has inverted flare fittings in it so copper tubing is flared and attached. This valve has pipe threads so to install it one must cut the flare off copper tubing and buy two compression fittings to attach the tubing to the new valve. Not a big deal but you need to get the fittings. It is not a direct replacement.
