Not worth the money.
These are not terrible but at best, they're just 'Okay' especially at the price point. For starters, they do NOT look like genuine aged ivory, even from a distance. The bigger problem is they are not particularly well finished. There are several sharp edges and corners, especially at the top of the grip. (This is shown in the first photo of this review) Those sharp corners and edges are very uncomfortable. When you compare these to the factory wood grips, you see several areas that should have been beveled to remove abrupt, sharp edges and corners. For the price, the buyer shouldn't have to get out the files, dremel tools and emory cloth and spend an hour or more working on these grips. AND...what is NOT REVEALED IN THE DESCRIPTION is each grip panel is made from two pieces. (This is plainly shown in the second photo with this review) There are two problems with such construction. Firstly, the two pieces are not precisely mated; in other words, you can feel where the two pieces don't quite fit together. Secondly, any time there's two pieces glued (?) together there's a potential weak spot where the two pieces may warp over time and separate especially when they're poorly fitted at the start. Again: THIS 2 PIECE CONSTRUCTION IS NOT REVEALED IN THE DESCRIPTION. Overall, I do NOT recommend these grips for the price or even half the price.

Great Value
Mora always offers great value. This knife is more of the same tradition. That said, I don't like the blade profile on this one as well as their "bushcraft" series with the thicker...but this is still a great knife.

Pretty good but not perfect.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich For starters, any reviews about the Cold Steel Spike series of knives that accuse them of "not sharp out of the box, wouldn't cut bread" are obviously brand assasinations. Make a 'stabbing dummy' out of 7 or 8 layers of cardboard wrapped in thick denim or canvas. Make sure you have a firm grip when you practice your stabs; if not, and your hand slides up on the blade, you will discover just how sharp this blade is. What I don't like: no lanyard hole near the end of the grip/tang. Easily remedied if you have a metal drill...but perhaps CS should offer it as an option. In fact, I bought several and plan to experiment with some additional holes in the grip/tang to lighten the knife slightly. All in all, this is an affordable, well designed and well made knife that offers serious defense as a backup to your CCW or even as a primary if you don't have a gun. It has a fairly flat profile for concealment. Be aware it is probably illegal to carry concealed just about everywhere (because of blade length).
