I live in Michigan and I had shows coming up in Florida. Sunday at 3:00 am I emailed to see if it could be over-nighted to Florida. He said he could make sure it shipped out on Monday and he gave me the option of over-night or 2-day. The 2-day was a better deal but it had to be there on Wednesday. Wednesday the speaker was already there when I arrived. I put it in my cabinet and it sounds great!! Brilliant from start to finish!
If you're already a Frost* fan, then I probably don't need to say much except that you need to go ahead and bite the bullet and get this. It's wonderful. Truly. The recording is a bit "raw" in places but then that does add a layer to their sound and gives the impression of actually being there, as often, sound at live events is less than perfect. In other words, it's a benefit here.
But the performances are stellar. My main prior experience with the band has been the more recent 4 piece lineup. This double CD includes others for a bigger band. But, again, this is neither a good thing nor a bad thing. It's still very, very much Frost* as the core band are intact and leading things. And no matter the versions, I simply don't tire of listening to their songs. I hope this never ends.
The closer on disc 2 is The Dividing Line, a studio tune. Just stunning in concept and execution. I won't say it's worth the price of the of the CD set on it's own, but yea, I guess I would say that. Very intricate and with so much depth in the performance and writing.
I clicked YES on the question of Is It A Good Value? How do I justify that response? I can't say I buy a lot of music these days but this band has me hooked deeply and I felt as seldom as they issue new material, it was a no-brainer for me. I can easily count on one hand the number of artists I'd spend this kind of money on a CD for. But I was joyful when I discovered this recently and couldn't hit the purchase button fast enough. No regrets whatsoever. It's just brilliant in every way.

Very impressed!!!!
What a great deal on the pedal to end all pedals. It does take a lot more effort than a simple stomp box to get the hang of, but that effort is richly rewarded with the best effects on the planet. Ok, I'm getting carried away. But I do love this box. My singing isn't the best by any means. But this pedal certainly helps in ways no other could.
As for the guitar portion, it is simply brilliant. Very deep editing is available if you dare to go there. Frankly I only mixed up the drive and volume settings and I"m good with what TC Helicon programmed in the box. The effects are world class reverbs, delays, chorus/modulation... Lush!
Built like a tank. And laid out in the best possible fashion. Scientists were surely involved in the building of it, but musicians were in charge of design. For the advanced guitarist it will quickly become very intuitive. What seems daunting to master will become second nature soon. Even if you're not advanced, there is so much fun and joy in messing with the dozens of factory presets that you will never grow tired of playing it. Add in the incredible looper and nothing on the market can touch it. This is no ordinary looper. I encourage you to go to TC Helicon's website and to Youtube and enjoy the videos of what it is and what it does. It's still a bargain at 3 times it's price.
