The book explains the creation of the State of California and how it affected this Westward movement settlement by miners and agriculture, earthquakes, etc. Recommended reading for all Californians.

Wonderful for storing veggie seeds

These are the perfect size for storing and protecting smaller vegetable seeds. When I receive a new seed pack, I immediately store the seeds in these mini-zip lock bags and replace inside the seed packet.
