DIY Washer Clutch Repair
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have an older model Kenmore washer that will be 30 years in May 2017 that still looks great and has serviced us well. I was disheartened when it stopped spinning and upon doing a bit of computer research discovered that the older machines (pre- electronic components) had relatively few mechanical parts that could go bad, the clutch being one of them. I discovered through the use of You Tube that it seemed a pretty easy and straight forward process to change the clutch, so I called Sears to price the part. I was quoted a price of $35.00 with a 3-7 day deliver time. I also called a local appliance parts dealer that is a discounted Kenmore parts dealer and he charged nearly the same as Sears. I then turned to E-bay and found this replacement part for $12.50 and free shipping, almost 3 times less in price and was very impressed when the parts showed up in 2 days which was really only 1 1/2 days after I had placed a late evening order. The part was easy to install and the washer works GREAT ... I am thrilled and couldn't be happier with my choice! Thanks so much for your affordable prices/parts. Oh and did I mention I am a Mrs., not a Mr. and even I was able to change this part!
