Worked on a 2005 Astra but NOT on a 2003 Focus or 2000 VW Bora
Seems like this reader only likes newer Vauxhall's, it reset a friends engine warning light after he let his coolant level go low, but, when I tried it on a Ford or VW, it kept coming up with a link error, a bit of research online seems to indicate that it looks on the wrong channel for data, so in short for me it was a waste of time and money as I needed to reset a VW air bag light.

Fantastic Quality and Value For Money
10/10..... buy buy buy :)
I was really surprised and impressed with the quality,
these are big enough for most jobs and work great,
very impressive, I just can't believe how cheap they are.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
After stripping out and down my VW Bora ignition barrel and switch to replace the internal switch rod I found that this replacement Barrel rod tip has not been machined far enough to the base, and is about 10mm short of where the shaped tip/rod should start as shown in the picture it is about 10mm when it should be about 20mm.
This means that without extensive filing etc the replacement barrel rod will not fit fully into the barrel as the shaped part has to pass through a shaped washer to then protrude far enough to work the switch etc, and it can not go past the washer as the un-machined section of the rod is still round and needs to be like the flatter part, thus the barrel rod body can not operate the steering lock mechanism, let alone the switch, and enable full re-assembly.
I think they were not machined nearer to the base as they are more likely to break off in manufacture, the sellers must also know that people will not know what the new part should look like until, they, like me have bought the item then stripped down the barrel and then found the error in the new part.
Nothing for it but to try filing or grinding down the new part and risk it snapping off like the original tip.
Shame really as the quality seems ok but at the moment it was a waste of time and money and a used ignition barrel would have been a bit more expensive but much easier and faster in the end.
