Hidden Figures

We watched this intriguing movie and really liked it. It tugged at our hearts' strings at the ignorance of the people in dealing with race. This movie showed how people were considered as "machines" despite their advanced knowledge.of math. It was amazing to see how these ladies, especially the main character, used her grace and stood up for herself a couple of times....and enacted change because of it. The racial issues were hard to look at, but I was proud of the main boss for changing things (like the bathroom issue) and tearing down the things that needed it. I also liked how he gave the main character the honor due her at the end of the movie. Wonderful movie. I've always been one to give people who are decent human beings the chance they deserve...whatever race they are.
