True Blood
Do not let Twilight scare you away from this excellent series. HBO has done it again with beautiful visuals, compelling characters, and lots of steamy scenes. The setting of Bon Temps, Louisiana lends an authentic southern feel to the show which is full of great veteran actors and some excellent fresh faces. Women will love the show for the romance, passion, and the allure of the ultimate bad boy, a vamp. Men will love the action, gore, and plethora of attractive women. Everyone will love the humor and sexy scenes which compromise a large percentage of the show. Yes, it's a show about vampires but underneath the subject matter is a bit of social commentary, hilarious situational comedy and a modern day twist on romance. Take the time to lose yourself in the strange world of True Blood.
