A Hawaiian treasure
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I was lucky to find this classic Hawaii pop CD, from the 70's, on eBay. Cecilio & Kapono the music still brings back many good memories of growing up in Pearl City, Hawaii in the 70's & 80's. Henry Kapono is one of the few rare pure blood Hawaiians left. Truly a state and national teasure!

Another great film from Japan
Hula Girls is a heartwarming, true story of coal miner's daughter's becoming Hula dancers to save their dying village. It won Best picture in Japan in 2006, and for good reason! Wonderful acting, and fabulous music (from Hawaii's Jake Shimabokuro, and Na Leo). Definitely in my top 10 favorite movie of all time now.

Great documentary about the Los Angeles Lakers 1st championship in L.A. A must have for Laker fans.
