A Man Of Honor - Joseph Bonnano
a very inspiring book of an era that was greatly misunderstood as being all violence and barbaric. the Bonnano family was one of the greatest and longest lived. Profaci was also a great name.

Frank Costello: Prime minister of the underworld by G.W
an interesting book about Frank Costello, noted mafia "boss" of the soon to be Genovese family... somewhat one-sided, they portray him as the "boss of bosses".. which i find imporbable, he was close to the bosses, but he was a statesman among strong arms... a smart, political person, who *i* feel was more of a peacekeeper than a true "don" (the mafia was known for it's ferocity, and here this man claims costello ran it, he was no muscle, only inspired others).
