4 von 4 finden das hilfreich A great little tuner for QRP but why not put the Tayloe SWR LED in it? Where you're out doing QRP you have to carry an SWR meter? A good product could have been excellent! I'd recommend it to anyone. Tuning to max receiver level gets close but...

SVP T-308 Camera os A-OK!
Inexpensive 720P(1280 X 720 Video 30FPS) camera with tons of battery life. Charged it and after sitting 2 weeks still fully charged. I bought it used so it was scratched up, still rugged and works like a dream. Carry it in my pickup truck to catch whatever I happen up upon. Have 5 video cameras and this SVP is tied for #1 with a Chinese Camera 1080p I lucked upon with AA Cells that last two forevers. Have two older SVP and wore them out, and a Mitsuba that is too delicate to take on the road.

Beginner Apple Product
5 von 6 finden das hilfreich My wife expressed interest in an Apple Macbook (her daughter and daughter-in-law have Macs) but she has used PCs her whole life so rather than drop $2k on a new MacBook, I bought this refurbished older machine. It has added memory, a new graphics card and the latest OSX operating system. This gives her a chance to see if she really can use Apple at $385 rather than $2k. If she does well, I'll get her a high dollar one.
If you never used Apple and are an average computer user especially if you happen to have an iPhone and/or iPad you are in for a treat. The dreaded PC "setup" is made easy as pie by Apple. Get on the new MacBook and enter your Apple ID and password and when you go to photos or other apps on the Mac, the info just updates and downloads your data. Setting up email is easy too even if you have a POP email account or Outlook email. Just Add the email address (add account) and password and the mail app figures out the server addresses and ports automatically.
Why do PC "experts" hate Apple? They say it is overpriced BUT remember you're paying for a "walled garden" system which works hard on security. Apple examines and approves all apps in the Mac app store so if you download an app you can bet it is virus free. But the PC expert's hate has a more central reason: you don't need an expert to help you. For the most part a world of Apple computers puts the "PC expert" out of business and they don't like that. They call it "taking away your freedom" but it is taking away their prestige.
Finally the Mac is much like the PC to learn (after all Bill Gates stole the windows idea from Mac). The differences are simple to master. My wife picked it all up in an evening and is now pecking away like a pro! Most apps like MS Word, Excel, etc have Mac versions and there is Libre Office which reads and writes Microsoft files if you hate MS Word.
Anyway, this product is a cheap way to get into Apple. The MacBook is white unibody plastic and the unit I got was very "minty" (like new). I give this product a 5 out of 5. Oh by the way, I am a PC expert and a Linux user. I have iPhone, iPad, iMac and Macbook besides two HP i7 laptops one on windows 8 and the other on Linux. Maintaining my wife's PC was a full time IT job....
