WORKS-BASED TEACHING!
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich The book starts out o.k., talking about the awesomeness of God and evaluating your life. Then chapter four lists a "profile of the lukewarm," basically these descriptions include anyone who is not actively serving God or on-fire for God, whatever that means. These standards are all contrived artificially. Chapter five then judges them all and sends them to hell (it looks like most of Christianity is in this category if one goes by the descriptions in the book). To quote the book (pp. 83-84): "As I see it, a lukewarm Christian is an oxymoron; there's no such thing. To put it plainly, churchgoers who are 'lukewarm' are not Christians. We will not see them in heaven."
