Great ear plugs for musicians
I've been looking for a replacement for the 3M earplugs I used to use, now sadly unavailable. Have been disappointed by some of the earplugs I have tried, due to discomfort and after-effects on my hearing. These fender plugs are great, very comfortable and a good fit. The cord is unobtrusive and so far has prevented me losing them.

A great little product for the price
I bought this to replace an old one which had broken. This feels much more solid and powerful. What I really like about it compared to other models is you can stand it on its base without it constantly falling over, so it can be stored upright in the bathroom cabinet.

A nice sturdy lighweight caixa
I've been looking for a used caixa on Ebay for ages but they never crop up, so I decided to buy one of these. I've played it once and so far I'm very pleased with it. Despite what you may see in the photo it only has 4 tuning rods not 6. I was a bit concerned about this when it arrived, but the aluminium shell and top ring both feel very sturdy which should minimise any problems due to not having so many points of tension.
It doesn't come with a tuning key. The nuts are brass hexagonal ones.
Despite its lightness it didn't move around at all while I was playing it using just a shoulder strap.
Sound-wise, it sounds like a caixa, what more do you want? It didn't seem very loud but that could be because of me being out of practice and/or the very loud guy I was standing near.
All in all, very good value for money.
