Used in a PMR walkie-talkie (all daylight hours on) and so far so good. The previous Duracell items lasted for a good 4+ years so we'll see how long these ones last.

Well designed and made parts washer

I was tempted by the 'made in UK' statement as part of the description. However, the large cardboard box, in which it was excellently packed, was clearly labelled 'made in PRC' (China). Nevetheless, it is well made/designed, the main structure being box section steel tube and not folded sheet metal framework and legs which cheaper options have. The lockable castors are an excellent idea, enabling convenient movement within and outside the workshop - it would be a 2-man lift to move easily without castors. There are metal hooks on the side to hang washer brushes, although any drips would end up on the floor. There are no brushes supplied but the pound shop has a plentiful supply. Currently using with turps substitute and I'm hoping the pump doesn't dissolve. The pump steel flexible hose is nice and stiff and stays where put. Instructions state 'aqueous solution only' but here's hoping .Apparently has a 'fusible link' in the lid support to close the lid if the 'aqueous solution' catches fire ? Overall I'm pleased with the product and glad I spent a few extra pounds for what so far is an excellent piece of equipment. No bad points so far.
