As good as it looks.

Not for absolute beginners, but the average modeller should make a good job of this kit. Precise well fitting pieces go together to make a superb model that looks good without paint. Blue tack and tweezers to hold the stair sides and position the treads in the sides are beneficial. The hoops are flimsy and do nothing to support the walkway sides from warping out of vertical. I made hoops from 1mm square brass rod- not absolutely necessary, but helps when handling the model. The walkway underside could perhaps do with a representation of support girders, but this easily rectified by adding unistrut sections. I have easily modified three of these kits to make a four platform bridge and it looks superb. I stained it with coloured ink rather than add layers and lose some of the crispness that this form of construction affords. Instructions are clear and are mainly in the form of photographs. I thoroughly enjoyed building the kit and am delighted with the end result. Challney 6166
