Yet another waste of money.

I bought this one used, mainly to charge my portable electronics.. A few weeks later i found myself in a situation where i needed it to start my car.. It was fully charged and after 4 attempts, it was obvious my car wasnt starting with this thing..It may work on some cars, but not on mine.. A few weeks later, i tried it on a friends Toyota pickup, it barely even clicked .. Maybe it was a bit too used when i got it, who knows.. All i know is mine was garbage and would never start a car with a dead battery..

Defective internal battery in mine, would not hold charge

I got this because its small and easily stores in my truck. I had a weak battery and wanted something just incase it went dead b4 i got a new one.. Well, after charging this to max and putting in my truck, 3 days later i put it to the test.. I had left my truck at a friends overnight and when i returned and tried to start it, i got nothing.. Hooked up jump box, turned on and got only clicking.. Checked voltage with voltmeter 10.1 volts and put a load tester on it also.. It said to replace battery. Instead of going thru the process of returning it, i decided to replace the battery myself. Very simple 23.00 fix, it now works as it should.. Nice compact jump start as long as internal battery holds a charge..
