Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip:the complete series
Studio 60 is an intelligent, adult comedy which relies on dialogue. Matthew Perry is the hero, the head writer of a weekly comedy show. Studio 60 achieves greatness in certain moments, but is always excellent. This is not blue collar humor, but instead is a comedy of manners. We get to know educated people and we listen in on their thought provoking discussions. Well developed characters and outstanding writing set Studio 60 apart. Sorkin was so right to insist on Perry. His best work.

Klipsch R-820F will put a smile on your face!
Set up outside about 3 feet from the brick wall 8 feet apart and sat about 8 feet away. 1st up Eagles Hotel California. The soundstage is impressive. Next Chicago (a greatest hits compilation) had to turn it down twice. backed up to about 15 feet. vocals excellent horns, especially trumpets are excellent. liking this tweeter so far. On Color my world the vocals are crystal clear the flute is excellent and the bass line is there. Next up Fleetwood Mac Rumors. great album to demonstrate the need for full spectrum sound. This is why you need floorstanding and not just bookshelf, speakers. Just barely enough power at just the bare minimum volume Stevie Nicks' vocals are delicate and airy. Sound overall is wonderful. 4th cd in the cd changer player is Bob Seger Night Moves. Moving in close, within 6 feet and the lowest possible volume the vocals are immediate and the bass line is popping. sounds very accurate a multi layered vocal track The title cut Wow this album really rocks now I want to turn it up excellent This is the best test of the speakers' performance yet. Lastly Wings Greatest. superior studio work on this recording. Bass is present. vocals are forward clear and crisp, outstanding These are better than my JBL 4313b. Love this tweeter! 5 star Coen western
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I avoided this because it was a remake. Noone should remake a John Wayne classic. Noone except the Coen brothers, who should just please do whatever movie they most feel like making. I am very impressed with the Coen's work.
This is much the same story we all remember, but it looks better and has better dialogue. Matt Damon is better than Glen Campbell was and Barry Pepper does great in the Duvall role. Wayne was better though I give Bridges lots of credit for even having the guts to take the role-he did fine. Really the new Mattie Ross, Hailee Steinfeld, made all the difference. She carried a lot of water, and the film is better for this change in focus. Josh Brolin had fun and I liked him here. A 5 star Coen film. Hopefully they make many more films!
