Better reception, more channels.
80 channels (10 more than my old antenna).
And reception on my favorite channel went from ~40% to ~59%
Plus it takes way less space by sticking it on your window.
My only complaint is that they changed the color to black. It used to be transparent. This kinda blocks out some of the natural sunlight but it's not a super big deal since it's only a little more than half a square foot.

Painful but worth it
Takes care of the job where fingers aren't able.

Works
It does the job. SMART data showed some read errors initially, but I air-dusted the SATA connector and they stopped climbing.
I've installed and re-installed Ubuntu and Windows multiple times (pentesting) and it's doing good.
Did some benchmark testing on my HP Pavillion g7-1277dx laptop:
Average write speed: 89.3 MB/s (1.1 GiB, 12.0192 s)
Timing cached reads: 3006 MB in 2.00 seconds = 1503.37 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 374 MB in 3.01 seconds = 124.22 MB/sec
It's not top-notch but it's a significant improvement over the original hard drive which maxed out at 60 mb/s
