Good but needs new set screws
Have to say that it looks better than it does in the pictures. Well made and solid. Worth noting that the handles do not unscrew - not a problem, just sometimes useful in tight spaces. Does mean it's solid though. The only thing that lets this product down is the awful quality of the set screws...which isn't uncommon. The threads are somewhat mashed, the slot head is badly formed and it needs the rust and swarf cleaning out. Will probably need to replace them once I can work out what the thread is - it's either M6x1.25 or imperial of some kind.

Fantastic pins
Got these as I didn't have enough of some previous pins to finish a job. These are sooo much better than the previous ones. The old pins would bend as you crimp them since the barrel distorts. These stay straight, don't go brittle and give a perfect crimp.

Great value if you manage your expectations.
Let's be honest; if you're looking at this set them like me, you're probably thinking that for twenty odd quid it's worth a punt, how bad can they be?
Well I've measured some of my set and if they'd quoted the runout even at 0.03mm (double the quoted 0.015) I'd have been very happy with them for the price. I've not measure all of them but the small sample I measured was showing anything up to 0.04mm maybe 0.05mm. So if you're looking for super precision, these are not it. If you're looking for a wide range of sizes to get you started or that level of precision doesn't matter to your projects (bearing in mind that all errors stack up) then these are a steal. One or two of them seem to have some tooling marks on them but it seems to be only cosmetic. Delivery was quick and I can't find any hard evidence that paying twice or even four times this amount is going to guarantee you any better precision; it seems to be luck of the draw and, as far as I can tell, you're looking at eight to ten times this price before that changes.
