How to make 'the obvious' into 'perfect' -
This type of sun-shade screws easily on to the lens / filter thread. But, since this one is rectangular, it would normally stop at a place not aligning properly.
Hence, the genial 'stopping ring' that easily let you position the shade exactly and securely where it is supposed to be.
The design, materials and manufacture is absolute first class!!
Good example: The front cap has a precision and yet, a suppleness hitherto only known from Wetzlar!!
It surely justifies the purchase cost - quite generously!
I can recommend this screw-on shade with admiration and enthusiasm - without exception!!
