Great value. One great tune.
I bought this CD for one particular tune, Paris Holidays. I heard it on WRTI streaming and sought it out. It is a nice swinging composition. The chord changes are propelling. There is a lot more music on this two disc set and I look forward to listening to it also. To me it was worth the price just to acquire this one tune.

Great McCoy Tyner Recording
This is a fabulous McCoy Tyner outing with Freddie Hubbard on trumpet, Hubert Laws on flute, Bennie Maupin on Sax and bass clarinet, Bobby Hutcherson on vibes and marimba, Stanley Clarke on acoustic bass and Bill Summers on percussion. He isn't directly credited but Jack DeJohnette is on drums. Nice selection of tunes. This was a nice band that played quite well together. At the time this was released, I was curious to see what Stanley Clarke would do in a McCoy Tyner setting as he wasn't recording any straight ahead material at the time. He did not disappoint. Everyone swings!
