Offers only minimal protection

As stated in the product description, this only covers the iPad screen so the back of the iPad is left exposed when the cover is closed. It attaches by magnets to the long edge of the iPad and I've found this to be an unreliable arrangement. A few times the case has come off the iPad as I've opened it - this seems to happen if you inadvertently push the case in a particular direction. The case looks smart but I wouldn't recommend it because this problem, coupled with the minimal coverage means that I'm probably more likely to damage my iPad than if I didn't have it on.
