2000 Cherokee
What can one say about a 2000 Cherokee that is not on many Jeep forums? This vehicle is a classic. Very solidly built, but not overly heavy. Gets great mileage. It's lines are sleek are timeless. Full time four wheel drive would make it even better. They have a reputation to easily go 250,000 miles. A little lift and bigger tires is a popular project. Injectors can go out and it's not a bad idea to replace them when they act up. The drum brakes are well engineered, though Honda is years ahead with properly-sized rear disc. There is little leg room for a tall person so would be uncomfortable for long drives.

2002 Blazer
The 2002 Blazer is as well mannered as most mid sized domestic cars. The leg room in the back is surprisingly ample and bumps are handled well whether there is one occupant or a car full. Gear shifts are smooth and acceleration above average for a vehicle in this class. Handling is above average. Full time four wheel drive would make this vehicle a 10.
