It worked in DC41
The parts weren't the same shape as the original parts for my DC41, but they still worked. The only tricky part to reassembling this was to retain the original springs, and to ensure the spring is tucked behind the upper part when installing to help push it forward keeping it aligned with the release rod on the canister. Videos on the web will help make this clear.
