Definitive book on “Mosaic” & slip-stitch colorwork of knitting
A Must-Have for colorwork knitting.
This book is the definitive book on the little known but much easier technique of knitting with color than the Fair Isle technique. MANY easy to advanced samples & techniques explained. All her books worth the investment.
Barbara Walker has written at least 4 books on knitting in 1980s. However, I would rate her a knitting master. Her descriptions of what to do & how to do it are much more clear than other authors. Even w/o pictures of fingers with yarn demonstrating a particular technique, descriptions are clear (better than most).
